Totoro Figurineby ~ridiculyss

I've been watching a lot of YouTubers who make wonderful polymer clay charms, on top of seeing what the people in the group #PolymerClay are doing here on dA, and it inspired me to attempt to make my own little polymer clay figurine.

This is the little blue Totoro from Studio Ghibli's "My Neighbour Totoro." I love the movie so much and really wanted to make something from it, so now I have! hehe

The body is made from white Sculpey, painted with acrylics, and coated with a gloss glaze. The leaf umbrella is made from a green Sculpey clay, painted with yellow acrylic paint, coated with a gloss glaze, and there's a headpin inside for stability.

Including the umbrella, this little guy is just slightly under 2 inches tall.
